Diversified Global Holdings located in Orlando, Florida contributed to the Nike Women’s Marathon by sponsoring the KIN running team in an effort to support Leukemia research. The Nike Women’s Marathon will take place on October 18, 2009. The race will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of San Francisco, California.

Nike’s year-round marathon training program reaches highly motivated and dedicated women and men who are active consumers and interested in taking on the ultimate challenge of running or walking a marathon, completing a 100-mile century ride or a triathlon.

“Diversified Global Holdings and Nike’s contributions support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s lifesaving cancer research,” said Diversified Global Holdings Chairman, Vadim Enikeev, he continued, “We’re proud to be helping improve the lives of thousands of Americans battling blood cancers.”

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. They have invested more than $680 million in research, (with over $69 million in 2009) specifically targeting leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Last year alone, LLS made 4.9 million contacts with patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals.
